Ec Certification

The EC certification is issued by the boat agency Wind Service in compliance with the EC law.

The EC certification is the official declaration stating your compliance with all requirements set out in the field reference regulation and this certification too is issued by the boat agency Wind Service of Lignano Sabbiadoro. To its customers the Wind Service ensures the highest quality standard, and its commitment to high quality can be proved by the very strict tests this agency usually undergoes. For every project carried out by the Wind Service agency, a technical file is issued and this file can be used to have the EC certification released, if it concerns a new vessel, or to state that the previously issued certification was not violated, in case the project concerns an already cruising vessel; seemingly this second aspect is usually underestimated since those vessels have already got their certifications, but the Wind Service agency thinks that it should deserve more attention and strict tests by those who pay to have their boat repaired or updated. The EC certification is based on the corresponding ISO standards, which are the reference regulation to implement the EC law 94/25/CE, which is the basic requirement to get the EC certification for pleasure vessels ( until 24 meters length). Fulfilling al requirements of the ISO-EN regulations is obvious, since it is compulsory to get the EC certification for a new vessel, or not to violate the previously issued for an already cruising vessel, but not all operators have such a strong are commitment to the rules.
